Principle of measurement

The fixed gauge button of wall thickness micrometer gauge is sphere. It is used to measure pipe thickness.

It is the measuring appliance which uses principle of screw pair and reads the distance between spherical measuring surface and flat measuring surface to measure pipe thickness.
